SAD TROPICS
Formed in the fall of 2006, Sad Tropics consists of indie rock scene
veterans Josh Hensley (vocals, guitar), Andy Martin (bass, vocals),
and Jeremiah Wade (drums, vocals). Though fans agree the music is
hard to categorize, the band has often been compared to indie faves
like The Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, and Jeremy Enigk, and also to
classic rock bands like The Kinks, The Who, and The Velvet
Underground. Their recent CD release titled "Everything Was Beautiful
and Nothing Hurt" took them on a tour through Ohio, Pennsylvania
and  New York.

DOUBLE BARREL DARREL

Double Barrel Darrel is Americana rock & roll. Formed in 2001, the
band boasts a wide variety of songwriting and instrumental talents.
Original songs written and sung by Double Barrel Darrel form the
basis for compositions that hint at influences from Neil Young,
Wilco, Widespread Panic, U2, Gillian Welch and Steve Earle. Double
Barrel Darrel's 2004 album, Geophagy, paints a mid-western landscape
of desire, death, racial tension, and self-doubt. The band's most
recent CD release, Overland Underground, features songs written and
sung by four of the five band members showing the bands diversity and
musical talent. Double Barrel Darrel can also be heard on the
soundtrack for the award-winning movie Pearl Diver.
